It’s a question that’s popped up often over the last year: is appearance important when it comes to your senior care website?

We understand. An agency created website doesn’t come cheap, and the last few years have been rough on senior care marketing budgets.

While WordPress is a great platform with features that are attractive to Google for SEO purposes, not everyone has the skill set to make the site appealing to visitors.

So if you are wondering what to pay attention to if you are putting together a senior care website on a tight budget, here’s what Google says they pay attention to:

  • Grammar issues, such as typos, misspellings, and mistakes
  • How the page displays on both a mobile device and on desktop
  • The number of annoying pop ups that attack you on the site
  • Having too much copy crammed closely together on the page
  • Font styles and sizes that are difficult to read
  • Navigation that makes it tough to find your way around the site
  • Content that reads like one long sales pitch with little visitor value

It’s a great way to hear about important topics right from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.
