We aren’t big reality show viewers around our office. Quite honestly, the daily barrage of real-life drama coming out of D.C. is more than enough for us!
But one show we do kind of obsess over — and by kind of I mean a lot — is The Voice. And if we’re gonna be super honest… it’s All About Adam. From our office elders down to the intern, The Voice = Adam Levine. He really connects with his audience.
While none of us in this office can sing, we do have the senior living voice mastered.
Our crew has come up through the ranks in senior care. From home care and hospice to assisted living, nursing care centers and short-term rehab, we get it. Many of us have also been caregivers for a parent or grandparent.
That gives the voice with write with authenticity. And it’s one you just can’t fake. Like you can’t fake flying a plane if you aren’t a pilot or governing a country if you can’t read more than 140 characters.
Senior Living Voice and Content
We share this because we had a call with a prospective client who made it to the top of our blog subscription wait list this week! He’s been through it with the content mills, so we were delighted to be able to call him with the good news.
What’s interesting is something he told us he’s discovered…
The content mills now promote they have “writers who write about senior living.”
You see what they did there?
Because it wouldn’t be truthful to say they have senior living writers, they spin it a bit.
Crazy like a fox smart right?
But the problems arise when the content is thin and fluffy and doesn’t have that Adam Levine connectedness. (Yeah – I may have made that word up.) It’s like buzzing the window on your car down and throwing your cash right out of it.
We created this SlideShare a few years ago to help senior living providers track down content writers. While we’ve changed our name a bit and done some re-branding since we wrote it, it still holds true today. So take a quick zip through this if you need a writer.
And if you aren’t already a client or on our blog wait list to be one, shoot us a note! As we continue to grow, we work a few new clients in each month!
